The 7 th grade Lady Eagles defeated the Roughriders from West Jeff 40-2, December 21, 2023. Leah
Stroup led the Eagles with 23 points and 13 rebounds.
Madsion Plains dominated the game from start to finish. The Eagles went on a 21-point run to start
the game, leading 21-0 at half.
The Lady Eagles shot well from distance, going 2-5 from three. They also rebounded well collecting
26 with Stroup leading with 13. Great defense was played with the Eagles pressuring the ball
forcing 19 steals in the game. Additional scorers included Kendall Mason (15 points) and Kinsley
Bolin (2 points).
