The boys and girls powerlifting teams competed at the state championships held at Kenton HS this past weekend. The girls claimed the state championship, making this their second year in a row. The boys broke the school record for total weight lifted, a feat good enough to claim third overall. There were a handful of individual state champions in their weight classes for the golden eagles as well. Mackenzie Adams (125), Mackenzie Reeves (145), Abigail Lindsey (155), Dallas Johnston (185).
