Madison Plains Lady Eagles defeated the Panthers from Fairbanks 42-36 December 14, 2023 as
Anna Stroup scored 20 points and grabbed 16 rebounds.
The Lady eagles held on for the win after building a 10-point lead at 41-31.
Trailing 20-12, Fairbanks went on a run to tie the game at half 22-22.
The fourth quester proved to be a turning point the Eagles as they outscored the Panthers 12-5.
The Eagles controlled the paint grabbing 32 rebounds with Stroup leading with 16. They also
pressured the ball causing 13 steals. Grace Young (9 points), Ayslynn McCracken (7 points), Sydney
Thomas (4 points) and Taylor Solberg (2 points) helped in the Eagles win.
