Madsion Plains 8 th grade Lady Eagles dominated from start to finish, never trailing in the game and
leading by as many as 19 points at 24-5, on their way to victory.
Leading 12-5, the lady Eagles went on a 12-point run to pull further away. They finished the half
strong, leading 21-5 and never looked back.
Anna Stroup scored 19 points in the first quarter and ended the game with 28 points, 11 rebounds
and 10 steals.
Anna Stroup hit three threes for Madison Plains. The Lady Eagles pressured the ball all game,
collecting 24 steals. Stroup led the team with 10 steals. Additional scorers for the Lady Eagles
included Ayslynn McCracken (5 points), Sydney Thomas (2 points), Grace Young (2 points), and
Taylor Solberg (2 points).
